Got machine fixed and tried to keep goat warm
Finally got to take my machine to repairman. The damage was minimal so was glad. Interesting week...One on my DIL goats had her baby...coldest night and he got cold. We brought him in and warmed up and she had to take him out to eat every two hours or so. It's warming up some 20-30 and are putting him out for the afternoon and probably put him back in tonight. Last year it was an Alpaca that stayed in a converted corner of the living room. His mother quit feeding him. Not my choice of living room pets but....
Now I can go back to making dog blankets etc. |
It sounds like you should make a goat blanket too. My machine has been in the shop for 1 1/2 weeks. I really miss it.

Maybe he needs a little quilted coat.:)

I have had baby goats, ducklings, and chicks in my house. I used my dd's outgrown dog sweater for a little buckling that was cold.

Dare I say it? You should make a Goat Coat! Love your story!!

I wouldn't want a goats or that sort of animals in my house either. I could not live with myself if anything could have been prevented though. So I would have the animal in my house.

I was intrigued by your subject. I just couldn't see how these two things went together. lol Glad you got your machine fixed and glad the baby goat is staying warm.
