Grand Rapids Quilt show
 

Bus trip to Grand Rapid quilt show yesterday.
As usual, saw a whole bunch of beautiful quilts, some quite extra ordinary. One of them was a king size, whole cloth, red, elaborately hand stitched.
Tried to take some pictures, camera not working:mad:
Then after looking at the quilts, hit the vendors. 'nuff said :D

Love the big shows. Glad you had fun.

What store did you bus from? I bused from Decorative Stitch in Shelbyville Twp.

Ft.Wayne, In. There were two buses from here.

Was the red whole cloth the Best Hand workmanship award? A quilt named Ruby? If so that was made by Andrea Stacke who used to participate here. Her screen name was borntohandquilt. She does her hand quilting one stitch at a time. Wish Andrea still participated here.
