Grandchild #5 Nora Violet
 

Nora made her entrance a month early weighing 4 lbs 12 oz and 18.3inches. Have never been in a NICU before and was pretty scary seeing all the wires and monitors on her. She started to breath on her own within a day or two. Both mom and baby are home and doing good, other than being a night owl!

Since she was a NICU baby, you might want to try to leave the light on her room at night. She is used to going to sleep with the lights on at the hospital, so she is confused right now. After she gets a good schedule going, then you can start dimming the light little by light. Ask me how I know. :rolleyes:

Actually, that's a pretty hardy size. My nepehew's son was 2 lb, 9 oz. he's now 6 and doing just fine. Nora is a real doll. Beautiful baby.

I know just how you feel as my newest grandson decided he wanted to stay in NICU for awhile after gracing us with his arrival..I'm so glad your little angel is doing well..She's going to give her father fits one day..lol such a cutie..
