I finally have all my blocks ready to put together, but can't seem to get it right. Can someone tell me what to do now? I put a row of color around the first one, but when I go to put the other blocks around it, it doesn't fit right.

I'm not sure what the problem is but I am working on a GFG now and I just lay the two pieces together on a flat surface. They fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. When you start stitching them together just make sure the edge stays on the same edge that you matched it to. I hope this helps.

got pics? depending on how many rows are in each flower, there are different ways to set it together.

I am making my second GFG quilt. I found out the hard way that you have to put it together with d. I had to rip a large dividing hex's only sewn half way around the flower. Do a google search for GFG (spelled out) and you will see what I mean. Good luck. I had to do the "FROG" stitch and completely rip my first GFG flowers apart as I had put the deviding hex's all around each flower.

Not really sure how to explain how I did it but will give it a try. For each flower I sewed them into the circle first, then put the one inside the other and stitched them together. After all the flowers were made I did the about the same thing with the path. Except did it in half, and attached the flowers one row at a time.

I'm still working on it but maybe will just applique them on blocks.

Dianna7784,
Please, what is d.? |
On my goodness, sorry. That should read that you have to put dividing hex's half way around the flowers. That is probably clear as mud. I did a google search and found lots of site on how to put them together.
