Great book that includes quilting references

I just finished reading "The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd and I highly recommend it. The story is historical fiction, set in the early 1800's. One of the main characters does a bit of quilting. That's all I'm going to disclose.......

I read it when it first came out and loved it. It gives one a lot of historical facts, plus some thought-provoking things I had never considered or knew about before reading it.

I loved that book and I love all books by Sandra Dallas, lots of quilting in there.

Great book. I also enjoyed ""The Secret Life of Bees and "The Mermaid Chair". She is a great author. :)
