The Great British Sewing Bee

Just binge watched this year's episodes on YouTube. Just reminded me why I make quilts and purses and not clothes anymore. Lots of fun watching and one of the contestants is a quilter.

Haven't seen this show on America TV. Seen and enjoy the baking show. Sounds interesting.

I like both the sewing bee and the baking show. No million dollar prizes for these shows. I think that's one of the things I like about them.

I watched a couple of episodes a few years ago, looked for more episodes and found that they were blocked in the US at that time. I'll look again.

I LOVE quilts..... one size fits ALL! haha.... every once in awhile I decide I will make myself a shirt.... bleah!.... I should.... but I don't.... stand on the street corner and offer it for a freebie!

I didn't know about this show, will have to check it out.

It runs for a few weeks. I watch it but find it is not as well received by fellow quilters as the bake off shows. The winners don't seem to get the recognition the cooking programme does.

I love the Great British Sewing Bee. The first season is on Daily Motion (like YouTube). It was one of my favorites because one of the competitors was amazing to watch. This last season was also great because the competitors seemed to really care about each other.

I watch every episode I can find on YouTube. Love this show!

I'm obsessed with the show. :) Of course, I am a garment sewer as well as a quilter. I even ordered all of the companion books from the UK with all the patterns for their "challenge" garments.

The newer shows are on YouTube, but the other seasons appear to have been removed. So strange that they don't run the show on PBS here like they do with the baking show (which I also love). I guess they feel there are not enough sewers around to get ratings....little do they know. :)
