In my previous home I stored old books and magazines in the basement and they got musty smelling. I put a fabric softener sheet in with them and the musty smell went away immediately.

What also works if to fill the bottom of the pot with hot water and sprinkle baking soda. Let soak and it will lift the cooked on food.

What smell of bounce sheets do you use?

I will definitely be using this tip, I hate scrubbing pans.

I wonder what on earth is in these sheets that makes them such a versital cleaner? Thanks to all of you for these wonderful tips.

I had scorched/burnt milk in the bottom of my pan (went outside to feed cats and forgot the pan). I tried several different things and the burnt stuff would not come out. I soaked two bounce sheets in it and the pan is almost clean now! And what is left is coming out with a nylon scrubbie. Thanks for posting this - I was sure I would have to throw the pan away.

Deer rpellant _ I have many hosta. deer were eating only two of them. Took a dryer sheet - put a long nail through it and 'planted it" near the hosta. no more deer !
this worked for me. not sure if it works all the time

Okay well here is a quilting tip to use bounce with. You rub it all around the plate area of your sewing machine and when you machine quilt - the quilt slides real easy. :)))

Baking soda will do the same trick, and without the VOCs.
