Great to finally meet a friend!
 

Hi Guys,

I have made many many wonderful friends on this board and Squires1042 is a lady I have been in contact for a while. She originally comes from the UK...... very near to where I live now and she still has family here. She is now in the UK and she brought me a ruler that I wanted and couldn't get here.

Whilst the ruler was lovely, it was fantastic to finally get to meet a friend.... so here is a "selfie" (I have never taken one before so please forgive the photo).

isn't it great to finally meet a quilting board friend. I've been lucky enough to meet a handful and it was very rewarding to finally meet a friend.

That is great. I met a member of the board when I found out she lives only 10 miles north of me.

It's been maybe 4 years since we've had a Virginia QBee meet and greet, which was at the Virginia Quilt Museum in Harrisonburg, VA. It was such a great time several of us are STILL talking about it. I have become dear, close friends with the gal who helped me set it up, have spent many nights in her beautiful home and taught classes she arranged.
QBee friends are some of the best friends you'll ever (or maybe never) meet and I encourage everyone to give it a try!

It is always nice to meet someone you have communicated with. I talk with several board members but have not had the honor to meet them yet.
