Greeting cards

I have greeting and Christmas cards from the 40's to the 70's, does anyone collect these? If you know anyone who collects these or any suggestions on what I can do with them please pass the information on to me. Thank you,

Hey, what a treasure!! Recycle them! Make your own inside greeting & use the front for your front. That's what I do instead of buying.....

I chose some which have places to cut a hole in the center. then I inset old photographs with a backing on them. The grandchildren love to look at them on the tree.

There used to be organizations that would take them, but don't know if there are any left that do that. One local church uses the front of cards to enclose in Christmas stockings for shut-ins.

Love old cards. They'd be great used to make into new cards. Make ornaments out of them. My mom would cut out designs from the fronts (in a circle shape) , punch holes all around it, and then crochet around them. I found a book with some old fashioned Christmas post cards printed in it. Not originals but they are pretty. Hoping to do something with them.

Well...you can make some money on the older 40-50s ones. If you look on ebay you will see they sometimes sell for a lot. You need to check the SOLD ones to see that.

Also there are a lot of creative ways to reuse the..look on Pinterest or just google for ideas.

we made garland with some this yr. cut them into 1.5 circles then sewed them just like you picture garland. I was going to punch holes in 2 in circles and let the grands string them with yarn but they had no interest in that. so they handed em to me and I sewed and they helped hang em around the windows and on the small trees.
