Our 2DDs both taught Grkids that laundry comes back to them, just like it's found in the hamper.Socks & Ts wrong side out, only one leg turned on jeans etc.

Smell the milk before using is another.A Grson learned that one the hard way.

You don't leave the house or have friends over on Sat morn, till you've straightened your room & put laundry in hamper. After Grdau couldn't find the clean clothes she just had to have on Sunday, she figured it was easier to follow Mom's rules.

I love seeing the girls teaching things they gave me a lot of grief about :-)

Bill Cosby always said "I hope you have a child that acts just like you". Isn't it amazing what they actually learned from us.

They learn through osmosis. It's not till they are grown that they "get it" and start talking like the parents

The best reward for being parents is when grown children call and ask, "mom, what were some of the chores we had to do for punishment. Like, washing the windows, hanging out the laundry, cleaning the bathrooms?" I loved it that he saw the value in teaching a lesson to his kids.:)
