A positive word on the "dented darling". Some years ago, a hail storm dented every car in a company parking lot. Some folks left well enough alone and didn't get the damage fixed. During the hot summer, the dings popped out. Our own Rav was dinged two nights in a row and we still have about 6 or 8 that did not pop out, but we have driven it for 15 years like that. It's what's under the hood that counts.

Not sure about the answer to your question, but holy cow, that's some crazy hail. When we visited Texas some years ago, there was a guy on a TV commercial sayin' "Come on down folks, we're havin' ourselves a hail sale"...damaged cars on a used car lot sale at a reduced price.
