These are great!

Wow! I love these! The ideas would be endless. How special to send a "written" letter in one of these beautiful envelopes! Are they hard to make?
Those are great! Like Gramof 6 wrote "Are they hard to make?" Do you use wrapping paper?

Great idea and you do a beautiful job. Is this a craft hobby or do you sell them?
Those are too cool! Can you actually send them in the mail?
I have actually been lucky enough to recieve one of her envelops...and I saved it, lol, way TOO pretty to toss! It was a floral paper....JUST BEAUTIFUL!
I just made some of those for my niece's birthday. She wanted something fancy to use as budget envelopes. My thought was to use themed fabric i.e. food pictures for grocery $, cars for gas $ etc. but she choose different colored flowery fabric.
easy, fun project - also can be embellished with buttons, etc. on outside when given as gift card holder. |
do you make them with card stock or regular paper?
Very neat.

Steps I followed: unglue regular envelope - trace env. on 'heat & bond' - apply this 'heat & bond' to fabric - iron fabric to original envelope - crease on original folds - refold & reglue with glue stick - glue velcro to flap & there you have it! clear as mud?! |
