I have a favorite pattern maker, Sara Lawson from sewsweetness. She makes very easy to follow patterns with videos that walk you through each step. Sewsweetness.com. (Not affiliated, just really into making her bags)

I love the patterns by “ByAnnie”.

My absolutely favorite handbag patterns are from Pink Sand Beach Designs. I really like and have made several of each the London Bag, Barbados bag, Brentwood, and the Little Glam bag. Different sizes and for different uses. Her patterns are easy to find in quilt shops and online.
Her method of installing a zipper to close the bag, is amazingly easy. Not affiliated with the company just love those bags.

So many great designers! I love Swoon patterns. Lazy Girl patterns are well written and the photos are awesome. Very user friendly and beginner friendly. Don’t forget to check out the Facebook group pages for each Designer, lots of great inspiration!

Lazy Girl, Atkinson, and The Wave Bag (forget designer). Also I have a pattern of my own for a crossbody bag with lots of pockets inside and outside pocket that I put a band over the top of the pocket so things don't fall out, like phone & keys.

If you are looking for a wallet, the Necessary Clutch Wallet is a nice one. There is a good tutorial for it by Kittenishbehaviour.

I am totally entranced with her. I watched (scanned) her video on the Oslo bag and immediately subscribed to her youtube channel so I can get the pattern. She is so thorough in her video and it is done in "real time" which I like.
Thank you for sharing her website!

She has a Facebook group too, wonderfully supportive group of people and live shows where we get to ask questions and she answers them. Sunday and Tuesday evenings.
