The face of a new baby
and all the hope it brings

the sun shining, grandkids, oh and of course my neighbors dogs every morning waiting by my back door for their treats.

So many things, but I am looking for that happy feeling from the first bite of the first ear of summer corn dripping with butter and a touch of salt.

when I come home, no matter for how long I was gone for, Shelly coming up soooo excited to see mommy come in through the door.

stepping outside with morning cup of coffee and smelling the lilacs and roses from my yard. Or even better after it has rained and smelling the lilacs & roses !!

When I answer the phone and there is a little voice saying "Hi Grandma" now that is music to my ears :lol: :D :)
