Happy Fall Scarecrow using my quilting scraps!
1 Attachment(s)
The dot fabric for the eyes and mouth are from my first quilt.
The body of the doll is from gifted fabric that frayed too much, thus making perfect arms and legs. The check top came from a tote bag our guild makes for the women's shelter. The patchwork scraps on the denim pants came from another quilted tote bag project. The ties for the arms and legs were binding scraps from my Quilted Christmas place mats. The buttons were leftover from my sewing room wall hanging where I had a jar with buttons displayed. The denim pants from a denim rag quilt. The bandanna scarf was not quilt worthy fabric, so Fally Dolly (as I nicknamed her) is keeping her fringy hair in place from blowing in the fall breezes. I added a tiny fabric pumpkin, tiny scarecrow doll, 2 stuffed animal squirrels and a couple of leaves here and there! I hope Fally Dolly makes you smile and I wish you all a Happy Fall! |
You did a great job!
