And large cream buns with almond filling. Today's semlor have a coarse filling. I tried to crush the almonds for the filling myself and it was a rough done job. But you all are welcome to one.

I have a whole box of Mardi Gras beads left over from our years living in New Orleans! I'll bring those to the party!

Ok, I am over weight, and I have been losing weight slowly, but there is no need to call my birthday "Fat Tuesday" even if I did go out for lunch with DH! Lol!

Did have a great day! Best friend and I took a short trip to the nearest JA's and had fun gabbing and shopping for fabric! This holiday reminds me of the time that I lived in La. and had some fantastic Cajun friends!
