Is there anyone here who has started this book or is about to start it?? I wouldn't mind someone(s) to travel this road with me. I have made very few quilts, and want to re-start from the beginning with Harriet and her daughter--got the book on Amazon, and it was well reviewed.

I worked my way through that book too. I felt that it gave me a good foundation. I didn't do all of the projects, but I did read EVERY word. You'll learn a lot.

I have that and the next one; but have not started them yet. Do want to go through all the steps, because I am basically self taught and feel there is alot I can learn from these books.

We have a small group (3) who are attempting to work our way through. We are about up to Class 140. We are finding that it really helps you to pay attention to the very basics - and, when you do, you make a lot less stupid mistakes!!!

Yes--I would love to go thru the steps--I bought the blue and blue and white fabric for the first real fabric project--now need to go to DDs and cut out the center section of project after reading directions again. and again. JJ
It was good to get positive feedback from other 2 ladies here--thanks to you also!
