I love it, finally something to watch on NBC, their shows aare mostly crappy
ABC shows are better

Watched the first 2. Don't care much for the street language. Think it would be better if they cleaned it up. Douche bag is not part of my conversational daily vocabulary. Anyone agree?

We really like it, Kathy Bates is terrific. We have network tv on demand with our cable provider, there is only one commercial per break, and it's a preview for a coming tv show. The breaks are so short that an hour program is shortened to 43 minutes. I don't even have time to go to the kitchen for a dish of ice cream:-)

Yep...I agree!

Vulgarity doesn't bother me as long as it's appropriate to the character.

I'm not a "legal fan" in general since a lot of them are way too serious for me...but this show had me laughing out loud from the first show while dealing with serious issues.
Great casting...
The one thing that is a bit "off" for me was the up-scale nature of the shoe store if it's supposed to be in a "rough" neighborhood.

I'm with the rest of you....sure hope it lasts...

Sure feels good to laugh out loud and you can't help it with this show. Kathy Bates is great. I like the young male laywer, too. You are right about the shoes though. I hadn't really noticed that.

[quote=IBQUILTIN]I like Fairly Legal, and yet I don't like Fairly Legal. I think its going to take a few episodes to decide. Missed Harry's Law[/quote

Awww, sorry you missed it was great.

I've seen it but won't be watching it again. China's One Child Law is going to continue into the season and I'm not a fan of Caucasian savior shows (no matter how flawed they make the Caucasians).

Pros:
Law office/shoe store.
Cranky Kathy Bates.
Ensemble cast.

Cons:
Preachy.
Typical Hollywood intellect and conscience of a spoiled 15 year old.
Bad guy named Thomas Jefferson.
Studio backlot "ghetto."
Law office of white folks cleaning up a "ghetto."

Change the races and mature the characters and then I might be interested. I would also get off that boring backlot.

I'd rather watch reruns of The Wire.
