Has anyone else done this.

About an hour ago I woke up. I thought fancy sleeping all night on the sofa and not even putting PJ 's on. I put dogs out telling them 5.30 am was early no barking. Made a drink and have just had all my morning tablets and breakfast.
It is really here in UK 6.30 pm very hot and uncomfortable to sleep.

Oh my! That must have been a fantastic nap!

Glad u got some sleep!!

No, I haven't. Unfortunately, if I fall asleep on the sofa I usually wake up earlier (maybe 3 am) then I'm awake for hours!!

My DH's grandmother had to catch a 6:30 AM bus to get to work. She fell asleep once in the winter, woke at 5:45 PM, and since it was semi dark outside thought it was morning, caught the bus, rode all the way to work. Twelve hours too early! Obviously, this was before Daylight Savings Time.

You must have been totally exhausted. Be very careful of the heat! It can be disorienting. You have no A/C? We're to be in the med 90's around 95 for the next couple of days.

A/C in the UK? Not worth the expense. This heat wave is the first for 7 years. Today or tomorrow the weathermen are predicting lower temps, thunder storms, flash floods - so basically back to what has become normal!!
Which also means proper sleep, under a duvet with no fan noise. Then we'll not be so crabby (maybe that's just me!)

northeast ohio has been hot and muggy. I would wager that out of the last 30 days it has rained 25 of them. the mosquitos are loving it. the air conditioners are running

LOL... never missed by 12 hours, but I was once late for work by exactly 1 hour because I looked a the minute hand and didn't bother with the hour hand. Ya, boss wasn't too happy since we had a deadline that day.
