Almost sure that this questionable story has been 'doing the rounds' since last year!

I know there are huge spiders around. A tribe in Africa or is it South America eats huge spiders.
Still if he came in the house I would go out the backdoor....lol

I'd move out too! My friend lives in a 100+ year old house in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and the basement is infested with snakes!! Spiders, mice and snakes...no thank you!!

A snake on my patio (we live in the country) is enough to send me into the house for the day. Snakes in the basement? Oh...I'd be out of there! YIKES!
Spiders don't bother me too much, except the widows. There are 5 types of widow spiders. Four of those live in Florida!

I think the Orkin man and a snake charmer need to be called.

This was fascinating to watch. Don't you think that the mouse was a lot heavier than the spider and the spider wouldn't have been able to carry something heavier than its own body weight?

When I was single I sat in my living room one evening watching TV....out of the corner of my eye I saw a massive Wolfe Spider walking across my floor. I jumped up on my chair and started to scream when I realized that I was alone and had to kill it before it got away. Scariest thing was to get off the chair and find a weapon.

I'm with most of you - a good spider is a DEAD one!

Well, not a problem unless someone brings one back from Australia. It is amazing to see it carry the mouse.

Not sure but I think if you get rid of the mice the snakes MIGHT leave(not sure on that):thumbdown:

I have a friend in Australia that posted a pic of a Huntsman in her garage. I swear it looked like the leg spread from one side to the other must have been 4 feet or more. She says they are docile towards humans. She sweeps them out with a broom. That was all I needed. Never, ever going to Australia.

I heard down in Australia they shoot them.
