Concentrated Black Cherry Juice

cherry juice helps to nuetrilize the uric acid
|
Stay away from root vegetables and beer, an cut back bread. That was doc told my ex. Also, yogurt and pickles have something in them to help neutralize uric acid. Isn't it neat, when we have a topic, a product related shows up on the page. Very informative. Good luck, it is a misery.
Blessings, Ruth |

My dad swears by Tonic Water. I think he likes Schweppe's Tonic Water the best.

My grandmother soaks her feet daily in epsom salt and water hot as she can stand. Seem to help her.
It is a build-up of uric acid in the blood and the liver and kidneys are over taxed when this flairs up. (what dr told me when I had it). Medicine for it (colchacine--not sure of the spelling)causes bad diarreha, but keeps it from coming back for a long time (15 years for me) |
Cranberry juice is supposed to help.
|
Hot dogs/wieners are full of uric acid. I am so sorry you are having to deal with such a painful thing.
|
Thank for the suggestions.I had double kneee replacements recenty and it hurt nothing like this does.I have it in both feet and couldn't even get out of bed have to use a wheelchair.
|
If you don't care for the cherry juice all the time, eat dried cherries, found in the fruit aisle at grocery.
|
Don't you wish Henry VIII knew all we know about this problem when he got it? I know it must be difficult to bear.

my bf drinks black cherry juice - we keep it on hand for those twinges (cranberry juice is for uriniary track infections)
|
Sorry to hear you aren't felling well. My husband had it so bad that he could barely walk around the house. He ended up being off work for 3 days. Hope you feel better soon.
|
Yikes! I would hate that. I do hear that Epsom Salts help. You can soak the towel in the hot water and E Salt and wrap around the area.
|
Hope one of these remedies helps you!! My aunt has it sometimes and it's miserable. HUGS

Sending wishes for a quick return to health... Take care and try the Cherry juice or dried cherries...

My DH suffered terrible every time he ate seafood (shrimp)his big toe would swell and turn cherry red. He started taking 1-2 tab. of Black Cherry concentrate daily and has not been bothered for years. He no longer takes it reg. but if he even thinks its going to flare he'll get right on it.
I order it from www.Puritan.com |
