Noughty: 1 Spent too much money at Wal-Mart.
2 Argue with my husband 3 I'm short tempered at this time of year. Nice: 1 My bought a car (used) and he talked to the car dealer for a discount, and I didn't say anything. I usually put in my two cents worth. 2. My hubby is working a lot of overtime, and I'm not saying anything. I want to though. 3. I'm making a quilt for my neighbor, she does so many things for all our neighborhood, and I thought I would do something for her this Christmas. |
Naughty:
1. Forget and badmouth to others about people who annoy me 2. Gave up on a project I volunteered to help with 3. Procrastinate too much 4. Neglect friends I don't see very often 5. More eager to do things for those who are appreciative than those who take it for granted that I will do xyzabc Nice: 1. Helping friend with major project that she could not do without help 2. Not charging my campers and sometimes their friends very much per week to stay on my land and/or use my shower house (which has a washing machine but no dryer yet) 3. Being nice most of the time to certain people who get on my nerves big time. Guess I've been more naughty than nice... Oh well! |
Naughty
1. I'm too critical of too many things 2. Spent way too much money this year, especially on quilt-related things, particularly since I have a lot of UFOs. 3. Smoke way too much. Nice 1. Went to pick up my DDs sewing machine from repair shop today. :) I was off and she wouldn't be able to get it until Sat. Now she can sew for the next 3 nights. 2. Loaned a customer $5 for gas. He was back the next day to repay me. 3. Can't think of a 3rd thing--I'm a real grouch this year. :( |

I do clean my son's house every week and have made their girls 4 new dresses each for Christmas!!! |
Naughty? Who ME ????
1. Spent to much on fabric last year 2. Let the house work go untill even the Cat objects. LOL 3. Not paying bills untill the very last min. The money is there I just don't want to write the check! Hate to see it all go in one day! 4. Refused to let an old friend use my name as a refrence, well, I said he could but I would not lie for him. Nice: HMMM this part is harder than the other! 1. I make a 2 hr round trip twice a week just to take my Mom out to lunch and grocrie shopping. 2. Have not yelled at my girlie friend to "suck it up, put her big girl pantys on and get on with her life" in over 6 months. (whole other story not pretty) Yep, she is still a good friend! LOL 3. I love my DH of 42 years and tell him every day! |
I'm really not as bad as most people I grew up with thought I was. It was that "bravado" the, you don't want to screw with me look that they saw. What they didn't see was me hom when the streetlights came on, couldn't hang on the streets. I got grounded and couldn't go to DisneyWorld because I got a C on my report card!! I don't know why people thought I was a thug, lol
NAUGHTY 1. Not sticking to my diet or exercise like the doctor says I should 2. Not saving money (I don't have any to save) 3. Not being good about staying in contact with family memebers out of state 4. Having to relearn patience for training a puppy. I had lost the most wonderful do who could read my mind. Katie is getting there. Being deaf just takes a bit longer. NICE 1. Rescued a blind/deaf dog from a really bad situation and a bad little boy kitty from the grocery parking lot. 2. My friends call me "The General" over on another message board on a thread for people dealing with and surviving cancer. I'm not always the nicest, sometimes you have to tell folks how it is, put your big girl panties and deal with it. I'm here to help you kick Cancer's Ass. Not here to participate in a pity party! 3. On those days that I'm feeling really good, do as much as I can do to take the load off Lurchie/DH. He takes care of me. Does laundry, cooks when I can not, goes out in all weather to feed the chickens, wrestles kitties to give them pills, he even cleans toilets and litterboxes!!So I do whatever I can do, even if that means giving up my nighttime tv shows for, gasp, football! |
NAUGHTY:
1- Cant ever stay on budget, money burns a hole in my pocket 2- Housework comes last on my to-do list 3- Laundry comes after housework on my to-do list, by the time housework is done too tired to do laundry... To my defense, its two flights of stairs in this house to get the dirties,to bring it two flights down to go wash them, and two flights back up to put them away... NO thank you !!!!!! NICE: 1- Every day for the last week I have stuffed my lil ones backpack with canned goods for the 'Food Drive' 2- Filled a box of canned goods, dry goods, boxed goods for the 'Food Drive' and will be takin it in Thurs. 3- All laundry but one load has been done, house cleaned, xmas decorations are up, xmas boxes and mess from putting up the decorations are cleared away.... mark it in the calendar cause this happens far and few between- id rather be quilting ! |
Naughty:
1. Don't visit my grandkids and kids enough 2. I am very disorganized for me 3. So busy doing for others that I don't spend enough time with my husband and doggie Nice: 1. Donated 10 quilts to Hospice and VA and made tons of stuff for doggie rescue 2. Helped mom rescue a dog from the doggie rescue 3. Help everyday with mom and dads care and aunt Betty's and my husbands(see he always seems last on the list)...they are all in their 80's! Dad is 88 this Sunday. ****** I have bought all the fabric I want all year!!!!!Yippee PS: the doggie in my avatar is Cosmo, the one we rescued! |
Naughty:
1. gave my nephew a grape powdered drink mix for his water bottle only to find out his Mom deamed it unhealthy and threw it away- so the next night I mixed a whole pitcher of it (which is clear in color) and made sure he got a large cupful. 2. Told my sister in law it was the right of ever girl who's been to her first dance to go to bed with her hair still styled and full of hairspray ( her hair looked so cute the next morning) 3. The final morning of a family gathering I looked the other way and let my kids follow my mother's example of eating cookies, pie for breakfast. I pointed out they would crash with only sugar and needed something else to which my mother piped in and said- I had cold pizza to cut the sugar and she dished it up for them. Nice; 1.Taught my neice and nephew there is life outside of rigity 2. Gave my kidsthe freedom to stay up till way past midnight so they could sit by a fire and spend time with one of their favorite uncles after everyone else was long asleep knowing it would be a long time before they'd get that chance again. 3. Told my Father I love him and held him- this may be the last time, his heart is worn out form the congestive heart failure and he is ready to go home to be with the Lord. So- what have I learned this year- more then I can recount here- we have been through so much and the year has yet to draw to a close. The passing of time brings joy, anticipation and questions of the unknown but I know one thing for certain- even when I am uncertain, fearful, sad, or hurting- God is true and he will never fail. |
Naughty-didn't go visit my family in LA because when I go the in fighting breaks out and I am always in the middle. They NEVER come to see me-too far-DUH-same distance each way.
Didn't make enough jewelery for the local thrift shop-was getting into quilting. Spent way too much money on my new hobby Nice-Charity donations up for the local animal charities and children -adults can take care of themselves. Cleaned out the garage and part of the basement-donated all the new garden stuff to the local garden club-never seem to get the garden done Made 32 pillowcases for Project ConKer. Not as nice as I should be I guess |
