Have you ever been sewing, gotten yourself a bottle of something to drink, gone back to sewing and as you remove a pin, drop it into your drink bottle instead of your pin bottle? DH saw me looking for it & started laughing at me. I'm sure glad I always close the safety pins before putting them in their bottle!! LOL! The pin is now washed and drying on top of the coffee pot with the heat. Didn't want it to rust!

Haven't done that one, did almost swollow(?) a straight pin and almost fell on top of my siscissors while cutting fabric on the floor. Quilting can be hazardous to you..LOL

The worst thing I ever did was cut the side of my finger off with the rotary cutter!! I am a lot more cautious now!! :?

ditter with that in mind last year my DD stabed her knee with siscissors had to have 7 stitches and a knight at the E.R. not fun

YIKES!!!!!! Maybe there should be special medical insurance just for quilters!!!!!!! :?

Haven't done that yet! But - I have taken a slice off my finger with my rotary cutter and sewn through my finger with the sewing machine needle - luckily it wasn't through the nail. :D

No, but when I was tole painting I learned to NOT have a cup of coffee sitting next to my right hand..........can't tell you how many times I dunked the brush into my coffee!!!!!
