Have you seen any robins?

I saw 1 about 2 weeks ago in central Indiana. My mom saw 15 robins as they were on her little tree eating the berries off. She was so excited. She also lives in central Indiana.

I live in NM and a couple weeks ago, we had a bunch in our front yard. Then we got snow and freezing weather. But today the weather is supposed to be 80.

No I haven't but can't wait until I do because then I know Spring has officially arrived!

we had a few here during the ice storm and subsequent snow storm in the beginning of February. Go figure.

Not yet. I hope to soon though!

I'm looking. I'm ready for spring.

No, but I've seen Lady Bugs. It's already warm weather down here.

I saw my first of this year just yesterday. Maybe spring is on it's way!!

CloverPatch 02-16-2011 12:56 PM

Oh a hundred or so! They were all over my back yard and in the corn field for a few days. My kitchen window sounds like a scene from Alfred Hithcock. They are all gone now, picked all the feeders clean!

DogHouseMom 02-16-2011 12:58 PM

Not yet, but if they're in Central IN they should be here soon!!! I always look for the Robins to tell me "Yes Susan - there IS a Spring!"

roseOfsharon 02-16-2011 01:01 PM

Yes, but we have had robins all winter this year. Even the cold did not send them all away. My father-in-law used to say they were "tough" robins! This is about the time they come back normally here. We are supposed to have an early spring this year.. so we shall see. :)

SueDor 02-16-2011 03:01 PM

No but I am looking!

Maggie_1963 02-16-2011 06:56 PM

yes! we saw our first one last weekend! Here in TX they are around, but usually fly a little further south in the winter...was so happy to see it!

gmaybee 02-16-2011 08:13 PM

I counted 14 in the Sumac bushes eating the berries last week. Haven't seen them again. I saw a bluebird the same day, but they usually come back about this time.

Yippeee, I saw 3 robins this week, sure is a sign of spring and the birds are now singing! in central Indiana, USA

also the same day I saw a brown willy worm (we only get them in the Fall to show if we are going to have a harsh winter)
