When our oldest decided to move in with her now husband, She called to let us know and stated "Mom, CJ and I have decided to (a long pause) co-habitate. She just didn't know how we take this and thought this sounded better than any other words. They married a few months later and he is a great guy. : :)

When oldest moved out and in with now hubby, she kept trying to convince us she was sleeping on his couch. Suuuuurrrre.....lol
The 2 of them had just gone and bought a new mattress for his bed and she's trying to convince us she's sleeping on the couch? Sure, I believe that and my name is Queen of Sheba too! lol

My mother only knows everything because she's a snoop.
I love her, but JEEZ!!

When I was a kid I used to feel aound the back of her head for an extra set of eyes. She told me they were there, and while I never could find them, she always knew what was going on anyway... *sigh*

why is it that our kids all think we were born old and dumb? do they really believe that they're the only ones that ever sneaked around? no matter what your age is, you can still remember how it felt to be 20. and some still feel that way. when i was in college, my mother didn't wait up for me. when i came home i woke her up to let her know i was safe. she always asked the time and i always said "12.30". i wonder if she believed me.
