I've made my niece a wardrobe of head scarfs this week. Here is a picture of one. I have the directions and some more pics saved as a PDF file but couldn't locate it to attach to this message so will try that in another post.

I think I have the PDF file for the headscarf saved where I can find it! I wanted to have this with the earlier post on this topic but couldn't seem to figure out how to do that. So anyway, I am attaching a PDF file that tells how to make the head cover for bald cancer patients. The pattern is our own, but made by looking at a purchased head cover. Hopefully this will be of value to someone. My niece may not get to use her headcovers--she is in critical care with pneumonia on top of all her other "no immune system" related problems from her recent chemo treatments and she is very very sick.

Love the way that you take pictures! She will be happy to get them.

I just went through breast cancer in 2011 and finally my hair is growing back. So nice of you to do the scarves for your niece. I will be praying for her and hope she has a speedy recovery.

Thank you all. My niece survived the night and is doing better although the doctor told her she is "not out of the woods" yet. The pneumonia could still turn fatal, but we are all so encouraged by her pluck and determination. I think she will get to wear the scarfs!
