Is there someone that can tell me what I might be doing wrong that I can't post a picture in my prifile? I do as the instructions say,[click browse,select file, click update] Have tried several times but itdoesn't work for me. Thanks for any help given. Mary

You need to check the size of the file on the picture you are trying to upload. If it's larger than a jpeg, it won't load. Sometimes it takes a couple of hours for them to load if there's a lot of traffic on the board.

If you need help resizing let me know the windows program you are using and what picture program you favor.

It might not be the right file type, it has to be a GIF, PNG, or JPG file.

try something else. get one that works and you can change it again later. good luck.

The thing that bit me in the hiney when I tried posting was using the PREVIEW button to be sure my picture showed in my post. If you use PREVIEW, it doesn't add the picture. So, it could be something as simple as that.

Well, I did get a pic to show up just not the one I wanted for the avatar. Oh well I will keep trying. It may be that my jpegs are too large. Thanks to all. Mary

Mary, I downsize mine to "web" size. They are easier to deal with but my Windows picture program allows me to choose many sizes.
