Help!!!!
I'd search myself for the answer but I lost my search & tool bar on every webpage!!
Can some one tell me how to restore it back? I don't have any tool bars at all is why I'm asking for help here. Thanks |
Are you talking about your home page? Um, what about selecting View and the drop down area, and checking the search. I'm not sure, but nothing to loose....I'm not a computer person as long as it works I'm OK but if it doesn't I'm sunk.

At the very top of your page, above the web address, right click and select menu. Hope this helps.

You might have accidentally clicked "full screen". If you right click way up on top, you should get a pop up that asks if you want to leave "full screen", click yes. Just in case Lormito's suggestion isn't what you need. It should be one or the other.

The other day, I lost my tool bars on top & the task bar at the bottom....still don't know why! Anyway, someone told me to click on the "maximize" symbol at the top right (the rectangular symbol between the - and the x)....& it worked.

Now that you have the web search back, go to the top of the screen and click on View, you will see a drop down box, hover your pointer over the tool bars and make sure both menu bar and bookmarks bar are checked.

You can "Restore" to what it was before you had this problem. I have Windows 7.
Restoring Computer, go to: Control Panel System and Security Action Centre Restore Computer to Earlier time Just pick an earlier Date when everything was Ok. Regards Carol |

By "Favs" do you mean a website you put on the toolbar to get to by just clicking it? They show up under the address bar.

yes. Plus it's where I bookmark websites.
You can drag/drop a website to the bookmarks toolbar below the address bar. I think it will hold 20 sites, but they may run off the right side of the window. Each one you place should put a little icon & website on the bar. I have 4 on mine right now. You can also add a icon to get to your bookmarks by going to "view/toolbars/customize". There is a star & a lined page icon....just drag it up to the bar. Not sure if this will fix your problem or not. |
I am also running Firefox with 8.1 when you click on the word Bookmarks is there any thing there at all? Also did you recently update Firefox?
