I am getting reading this weekend to post some pics of the fabrics I will be selling and took pictures with my digital, but when I looked at them, the colors were so far off, I couldn't even recognize what they were. What are your secrets about taking pics? I have a Kodak camera and never have any problem with distant pics, just the closeup ones. Thanks!

Try taking the pic under natural light and if that doesn't work please describe and explain to the best of your ability the color and let them know color varies from camera to picture and/or your computer to my computer.. Just be honest..

I have a Kodak easy share and in the settings on top is a picture of a tulip it is for close up pictures, did you try that setting?

Bf had an older camera, and for some reason, if I took pictues outside, they were nicer. Could you try that?
|
I have the best luck with no flash and natural lighting :D:D:D

also try including something in the picture that can be used as a comparison...for example, use a piece of pure black or pure white - viewers can see how far off the black/white are in the photo and can the get a feel for how far off the other colors will be

Thanks all - Up North - Oh! THAT is what all those icons are for?? DUH! I will try it - thanks a billion.
