As an aside: This last photo is good enough to frame. It's very artistic. You could name it "Fruit from the Garden of Eden". Pretty cool - right?

Thats pretty funny Krazy...I'm drying seeds now. I might have to swing by my neighbor's to see if he has anymore of them.

Our guavas grow on trees and although we have yellow ones, they are usually more orangy or reddish with a different look inside. Can you get some that grow on vines?

You know jit...I've never even seen a guava growing, but then I live in the southeast US...I've moved around quite a bit, but its still usually been pretty much in the south eastern corner of the states...so I don't know!

Patti, I just happened onto this thread again after so long.but I was thinking about it over the holidays.

We are in Florida at my son's and he has an overgrown back lot.....and they went out and were walking around and found, what they thought was a lemon tree..when they cut it in half, it looked familiar and I remembered your thread.....have you discovered what it is?

I would be interested in knowing.....I will have to go back over the thread and see what I have missed since last viewing.

Do have a Happy New Year........MaryJane

Yup MJ...I'm going with lemon cucumber. I've saved some seeds for myself and shared them with a few others. I'm going to plant some just for fun this spring.
