It's been bugging me that I couldn't find the thread about hemming jeans, so I did a google search, used the title of the thread "on hemming jeans" and "quiltingboard.com" in my search. I found it on google, just the beginning, but when I clicked on the link, the thread was not to be found. So what the heck? Why was the thread deleted???? I thought when something useful was posted, it was left for others to find to use. I'm at a loss on this one.... :?:

I have read and reread the instructions. I am not understanding the first part: Do not include the distance from the hem to the end of the jean in your calculations. Cans some explain that please?

It only took me about 5 mins. a leg to measure pin sew and cut. I am posting some pictures hope they are in order. BillsBonBon Darn it my time was out. Well try again sorry. Like the rest of you, I am having trouble finding old posts. Thanks 2K for posting the instructions and MissTreated for posting the picture again. I copied both and pasted into an email to myself and then saved it to my emails pertaining to Quilting. Unless I also lose my emails, I should have it when needed. I do this with a lot of things I want to keep handy.
