Hi Margaret, I'm on the board everyday although don't always comment. There is a wealth of experience on this board and the members are dry willing to share it. I have learned so much and I hope contributed some of my knowledge.

Hi Margaret,
My home is now in Southern Caliornia, before that I had lived in Herts for 30 years, I still say I'm a Devon Maid. Do I miss UK weather? Not a lot. I miss the family, including my younger daughter & brothers so much, but thank goodness for Skype.
I needed a hobby when I came here, so took up Quilting; eventually I found this site.

I generally check QB in the evenings (UK time!), and contribute sometimes if there is a topic that interests me. I find the tutorials very helpful.

Hello and welcome! If you want private chat just for the UK members, you can always make a private Facebook page and invite them to come. Probably want to contact UK members through private message, tho, so you don't get accused of promoting a website.
