I found this wonderful place and happy I did.
I have made a few quilts, maybe not as good as some of you
but it's all about learning right?.....I have recently acquired
a fantastic embroidery machine anyway I think it is....I would like to learn how to make a quilt with embroidery blocks. Anyone here share the same idea?. Rita

Hello and Welcome to the board :D:D:D

Make sure that you match your batting to the size of your blocks. Some batting needs to be quilted at 2" others at 10" or so. You don't want to have to quilt through your pretty blocks

Other than that, you can choose alternate blocks, add sashing, borders etc like in any other quilt pattern.
The more dense the embroidery, the stiffer your quilt top may be, just a heads up :D:D:D

Welcome....My daughter (a long arm quilter) just recently finished a black on white machine embroidered quilt for a customer. Blocks were embroidered black floral white background blocks set on point. She quilted it with red thread and it looks wondrful.
