My father has had both hips replaced twice and he is only in his 50's. His first time was in his early 40's. So I can understand your worry. But he does so much better after the healing process is done. Well worth the little extra pain of healing to have years of very little pain later. Good luck :-)

My good friend & neighbor had hers done and says that she wished she had done it sooner!!! With the rehab all done religiously she recovered VERY quickly!!!!

I had mine done and it was well worth it. Do the therapy that they want you to and you will be without pain soon, I had mine done eight years ago.
