Fried hominy Cherokee style:

6 pieces bacon, fried, save the grease
2 cans hominy including the juice
fry the hominy in the bacon grease, sprinkle with as much black pepper as you can tolerate, crumble the bacon on top, Yummy!

I think I'm in love with this recipe! I LOVE Hominy!

Out for dinner sounds the best! But, since it's just me and the cat, I think we will have chicken salad sandwiches.

My stand-by on hot days is a shrimp salad. I always keep frozen shrimp on hand.

Grilled chicken salad sounds good.

Cous Cous with tomatos, cucumbers, and fresh goat cheese.

A sandwich for me, tomato and cheese on toast. It's just too hot to even try to plan a meal.
