Hotels and Pets....so true..
A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a
Midwest town he planned to visit on his Vacation. He wrote: I would very much like To bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed And very well behaved. Would you be willing To permit me to keep him in my room with Me at night?" An immediate reply came from the hotel Owner, who wrote: SIR: "I've been operating This hotel for many years. In all that time, I've Never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, Silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never Had to evict a dog in the middle of the night For being drunk and disorderly. And I've never Had a dog run out on a hotel bill. Yes, indeed, Your dog is welcome at my hotel.. And, if your Dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay Here, too." Dogs Welcome.. |
Love it!:)

I work for a hotel management company. This is so true. Not all properties will take pets, but those that do, have a huge following.

Great response, LOL!

I have to say we had a great experience when we moved from FL to NC. We had three greyhounds and stopped overnight at one of the Red Roof Inns in GA. They never asked what type of dogs we had or how many. I was afraid they would ask how many dogs we had and what type and not let us stay. Greyhounds are not small dogs! One of them tended to bark at every sound she heard that was unfamilar. She didn't make a sound all night. They even rode up three stories in the elevator and we didn't have any problems. I will always try to stop at a Red Roof Inn when traveling with dogs. I can't speak for all RRI's but we certainly were impressed with this one.

Very cute. LOL!

I agree with that mgr. Most dogs are wonderful. Some owners - not so much.

We travel quite a bit as our families live in West Virginia, Indiana, Florida, etc. Our little gir is very well behaved and unless we stop, you never even know we have her with us and she is especially good in hotel/motel rooms.
