I tried to send message in my Hot Mail.
It shows a yellow triangle.
Then says: To stop spammers, we sometimes ask you to enter characters before sending messages.
I don't understand what they mean. Could someone please help me. I want to send an e-mail.

it is called captcha, and is used to make sure you are a real person and not a computer program sending spam to a lot of people.

There should be a box with letters, numbers, etc... you have to type whatever is in that box.

thanks. I clicked on the message and it gave the letters to copy. I did and then it sent me back to Hotmail.
Thanks for the answers. I never had to do that before. On some sites the letter are available.
