where each of us can post pictures of quilts dogs cats family and we pull from our own to illustrate what we are posting.

If we want to look at someones work or other we can look in their album

Its hard to find things from a month ago let alone fron 2 or three years ago.
How about it

This forum is just like the one at Crochetville and they do not have albums there. It is very expensive to run one of these forums.

It would require more server space which means more money to run it. I doubt we will get it.

I know a couple other sites I visit have one and its easy to post from the album to a message.
I dont think it takes that much more space.

Since typing this I think they already said no...oh well

As I posted to someone in PM recently, one of my long-term goals is to replace the software that powers this message board.

I'll be sure to keep in mind the idea of users hosting their own albums when selecting the platform.

I have to admit, when I first saw this I thought "nah... we already have a pictures section, it's a double up".

But now that I think about it, it would be very cool to have an album attached to each user. Of course, "cool" doesn't necessarily mean easy! LOL

To be able to see someone's entire quilting life, and the growth and changes visible in each picture would be awesome.

Yes blue that is exactly what i meant..there were pictures way back, that would be great to look at again. :D

I searched out a couple of other boards that have this...very interesting concept!!! :wink:

We could each start our own on flicker or something like that that is free.

Or put your pictures into webshots....and post a link
