Well let's see! I was pregnant with little man and my hormones were going wacky giving me daily panic attacks. I didn't sleep much and had to find something to occupy my mind. I sat at the computer all night long several nights a week. I typed in quilting in yahoo search and it took me here. I lurked for 3yrs. before becoming a member. If they ever locked me out I would probably lose my mind.

Was on a year long search for block swaps. Gave up searching for "swaps" and typed "forum" Up it came, and to my delight had a swap section!!!! knew I was in the right place, joined a few weeks ago, and have been here daily. It just amazes me how much is available on this site, and the people are truely wonderful.

I had just gotten back into sewing/quilting and decided to do a search for quilting boards. This one popped up and here I am!

I can't remember, but must have just been surfing the net, probably looking for baby quilt patterns. I love this Board. It has become a friend to me and a daily learning experience. I just LOVE it here!!!

That is so funny......I would feel like I was losing a friend if I couldn't visit this Board daily

I was introduced by the same friend who got me into quilting. She forwarded one of the newsletters to me. I stayed because it's so fun and informative. :-D :-D And full of nice folks! :-D

I had it bookmarked, but never joined right away. I discovered alot of information was available and everyone is so encouraging. Plus lots of good ideas when you look at everyones projects.
I belong now, and look forward to checking the site everyday.

A friend told me about it. And to tell you the truth, I belong to a couple of on-line quilt groups but this is the only one I really participate in. I like it a lot.

My friend, Betty, sent me the link this morning; said it was a neat group. I visited and registered. Looking forward to the experience.
