I picked him up in a bar. I was "pre-engaged" to another. That was just before my 17th birthday. Our next anniversary will be 38 years, the rest is history.

I met my husband on a blind date. He proposed to me that very same night, got my engagement ring three months later and we were married three months after that. And, we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary this past June. Best 50 years of my life! Am now in the process of making our Anniversary quilt. Edie

I met my Darling Husband on line , 6 years ago. We emailed & talked on the phone for 6 weeks before we met, I didn't even know what he looked like untill we met for the first time! man am I lucky! he was only on line for 2 days when he saw my profile, ( I had been on for 6 months..) I basically moved in with him two weeks after our first date. We are joined at the hip to this day!

meet my dh of 31yrs thru some high school friends of his. Was dating one of them when he wanted to break it off and my dh told him to go ahead. The next day he asked me out and have been together ever since. We have so much fun.

Met mine on a blind date with another guy. It was truly love at first sight. We celebrated 55 years last Sept.

He worked with my mother and my mother said to him one day I have the perfect girl for you----my daughter-----A year later he called me and we dated for 1 and a half years and have been married for almost 47 years... she was right.......

Hate to say it but it was at a bar but happy to say we will be married 35 years as of June.

I love all the sweet stories. I was married for 35 years, divorced now for 10 years(he got to keep his new girlfriend, I got everything else) and would love to meet someone. Ladies, it is hard to find a good one out there.
