if you purchase some clear,plastic tubing the size of the bulb, a piece about 2" long. fits over the bulb so you can easily turn it.

I had the same problem so I slipped a large rubber band over the bulb and used the gripping strenght of the rubber to get it to turn.

Push and turn....

All I know is that it makes my hand feel like a gorilla's hand when I'm trying to get that lightbulb in. (And I don't have huge hands).

You ladies are the best. I will try all the remmedies for getting a grip on the light bulb. Thank you so much. I know if I have any kind of problem with sewing of sewing machines, I can count on you to help me out. Kudos to you all. Anne
