I have a cat that will swallow, swallow, and swallow. I hold her wrapped in a towel and talk to her for a few minutes to make sure the pill is down. Of course, I find it on the floor half melted. Been there too many times!

How To Give A Dog A Pill

1. Wrap it in bacon.

2. Toss it in the air.[/quote]

****************** Not quite that easy here. I put peanut butter on a slice of balogna and stuff pills into peanut butter. Works great-------everyone happy!

That is funny! I've been lucky. All cats I have had that need medication were such chow hounds that I could crush the piil and put in their canned cat food (or lamb baby food) and they ate it up! I always tell my vet I need a pill that can be crushed and mixed with food. For pills that couldn't be crushed, I'd hide them in tuna, make the cat smell the tuna, then make him reach for it to get it. By stretching his neck to get the morsel, the food and pill when right down. I guess I have been lucky!
