Does anyone know how to make a slipcover for a small recliner? Or know where I can find decent instructions with lots of pictures? This was given to us by a family member and it's old and well used-also I would like something other than pink and not so dirty.

Thanks for the help.

Ps. We will also have it cleaned. It's a little embarrassing showing the picture but I thought it might help.

the only way i know is to take apart all of the cloth pieces, use them as a pattern for the new pieces, and put it back together the same way. i did this once. came out ok. however, is lots of work. it is best to write down the steps you take when taking it apart so you can reverse it when putting it back together. good luck.

I made one for a wing chair but it doesn't recline. I just used vellum to make a pattern right off the chair.

I made the quilted parts bigger then cut them to fit.

This is the same way I have recovered chairs as well. It is time consuming, but if your eally like the chair, it is worth the effort
