How not to write an ad:

1)Start out with a vague title such as:

Wanted
Fabric
For Sale
In search of

(These vague titles make it almost impossible to locate the ad again)

2) Then give a vague description of the item(s)

Any
Some
Fabric
Machine

(do not give any details such as colors, manufacturer, picture - they might help the readers know if they have or want the item)

3) Omit asking price

4) Omit if shipping/postage is included or not in the asking price (if asking price is included in ad)

awww, I always click on the "Help" topics, just to see if I can help. But I agree with you on avoiding vagueness, or as the bumpersticker used to say, "Eschew Obfuscation".
