HOW SMART IS YOUR RIGHT FOOT?

This is hysterical. You have to try this. It is absolutely true. I guess there are some things that the brain cannot handle.

HOW SMART IS YOUR RIGHT FOOT?

You have to try this please, it takes 2 seconds. I could not believe this! This will confuse your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It is pre-programmed in your brain!

1. While sitting at your desk in front of your computer or sewing machine, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

BUSTED LMBO my foot changed directions

Moonpi 08-20-2009 01:51 PM

Mine too- maybe I have dyslexic feet.

Lacelady 08-20-2009 01:56 PM

Did you try it in the opposite directions with your left foot (i.e. anticlockwise, and number 9) , I did, and that changed directions just the same. It's weird, isn't it?

amma 08-20-2009 01:58 PM

I tried left foot and left hand....switched them up....same results LMBO

Jim's Gem 08-20-2009 01:59 PM

Same results here too!!!

I thought it would be different since I am left handed, but it changed.

NorBanaquilts 08-20-2009 04:46 PM

mine changed too

moving your foot is a spatial thing...right brain...and numbers are formed etc. in left brain...we really are prewired, and can't access both at the same time.
I thought if I could get a rhythm going, and ignore the drawing, but you can't do it, if you shut the left side down. Can't be on and off at the same time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

That is wild. I can't wait to try this on my co workers tomorrow.

Even funnier, try on your "drinking" buddies after work!

reneebobby 08-21-2009 04:01 AM

To funny

CajunQuilter2 08-21-2009 04:20 AM

I am left handed, if i do that with my right foot it does not change direction, only if i am using my right hand with my right foot and vice versa

sandpat 08-21-2009 05:32 AM

Duh....whoda' thunk that????

fluffbug95 08-21-2009 06:32 AM

OH MY GOSH! My foot isn't very smart. My foot started drawing the number 6 and the number 9! WOW! :)

Quilting Aggi 08-21-2009 07:32 AM

CRAP!!!! my brain doesn't want to work either!!! LOL funny though.. good thing no one was walking past my desk while I was doing that!

Lacelady 08-21-2009 07:58 AM

I have tried and tried, and I can't beat it. I keep thinking perhaps I can sneak up when my brain isn't looking, but it won't have it.

dakotamaid 08-27-2009 07:55 AM

This started out to be one of those days and in reading this and doing the action just made my day!! I even talked my hubby into doing it, we were both laughing so hard! One for the grandkids!

Lisanne 08-27-2009 08:32 AM

I'm left handed. My foot paused the first couple of times, changed direction once and the fourth (fifth?) time, I was able to draw the 6 without my foot stopping its clockwise circling.

I can do it with the left hand while rotating the left foot.

I can barely make a 6 in the air with my right hand, foot or no!

JoanneS 08-31-2009 06:56 PM

I'm right-handed. Didn't happen when I wrote the 6 with my left hand. Did with my right. Also didn't happen if I started the 6 from the bottom going clockwise - but I guess that's cheating!

fun!--I'm left handed so did it with my left foot--yes, it worked!
very, very interesting......
