If you can find some homemade lye soap it will stop the itch. It will also keep bugs from bitting you. A friend gave me some a few weeks ago and it worked.

They also like to get in nice warm places like your waist or under your boobies or creases of your legs. Pure hell. Tea tree oil is a life saver for them as well nail polish.

When I lived in Indy we dotted the places with clear nail polish. It suffocated the little buggers and stayed on until we had had a couple of baths. They stopped their squirming and making us itch.

itch like mad for about 2 weeks and it will go away. Seriously, we found an ointment at Walmart for treatment of chiggers - it helped some.

Put some clear finger nail Polish on them. My dad is from Ga and that was what my mom use to do to us. And my dad got them all over his behind from using a leaf while we was camping. Ouch..... For a month.
