We planted sweet potatoes for the first time this year. None of our friends or families know how to store them. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Thank you for your help. :P

LOL - I store them in a bowl on the table them microwave them and eat em. Love baked sweet potatoes. I used the think I disliked them then realized I don't like the sugar and cinnamon most people use. Just butter and salt for me.

I keep mine in the refrigerator until I'm ready to use them. I like mine cubed, tossed with salt and pepper and olive oil and roasted in a shallow baking pan in a slow oven for an hour or so.

Thanks. I appreciate your methods. But remember I am talking about storing nearly 100 sweet taters. :-)

You could send some out to us and then you would not have to worry about it...lol...

Mom use to store them in the cellar , to keep them cool and dry,

You need to let them dry some first before putting them into storage.

I box mine up and put them in a closet, do not store your patatoes where they will freeze. I still have some from last year.
