but it still beats the alternative! and I am saying that while recovering from a simultaneous attack of acute pancreatitis and a kidney infection that cut short my vacation in Spain with my daughter--waah waaah, enough of the pity party

gerswin 01-18-2012 01:19 PM

Yes indeed, that's me to a T, cane and all. Just turned 76 but as one of the other gals said, it's better than the alterative. May in Jersey

Oh Boy, do I relate to that !!! I just turned 77 last October and now I have arms like flying squirrels, hair where I never had it before, and no hair where there once was. Every morning when I look in the mirror I wonder where in the world that young and perky girl went, and who replaced her with this old, saggy-eyed, gray headed, old woman staring back at me....

zennia 01-18-2012 02:04 PM

So true.........

I feel your pain - I'm with you! The brain is definitely younger than that old lady I see in the mirror!

Live life to the fullest-enjoy the days you have left on Earth-leaks, gray hair, and sagging are just some of the things we all go through in our Golden years- my daughter just died at 38 years old in November, and I'm sad she won't ever get to experience these lovelies

breezyquilts 01-22-2012 03:54 PM

Hilarious!!

biscuitqueen 02-06-2012 11:00 PM

If you could find this on a birthday card my kids would give it to me.
