8. When the fabric starts to move forward while cutting, it is time to have your scissors sharpened by a professional scissors sharpener who can bring those cutting blade angles back to manufactuer's specifications.

Thanks for the tips! I'm pretty careful with mine, but I'd not thought of the oiling tip. We live in a dry climate, so probably a good idea.
