Model #TL-2000Qi, for 899.00 (or 5 payments of 179.80). I think this is a good price? And its free shipping... AND I WANT IT.

Of course, there is the question of WHERE i would put it. I already have a modern Brother and 401 Singer.. in my tiny townhouse (i have a lovely corner in the living/dining area). I really dont have room.

But I can just SEE myself doing FMQ and not having to struggle so much!

I REALLY WANT IT. :)

Thank you for listening to the rantings of a crazy quilter.. I knew you all would understand. 8-)

I wanted one too but my Singer has about the same throat space as the Juki so I couldn't justify it for that reason. Then I also just bought 2 embroidery machines... but I still want one  I'm going to stand strong but I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL! :-D

My machine now has a TINY workspace. And my Singer is a Slant needle.. not that great for FMQ... SO.. the only thing keeping me from clicking the BUY button is the lack of space.. :(

I wish you hadn't told me this...
 :hunf:

I hope that you can make room for it. I love mine

here's to finding a space for it "somewhere". i have several machines. one, i have 'stored' in a cubby and just bring it out to the kitchen counter when i want to use it.

But, she is a wonderful machine....and the little bit extra room in the arm, makes a BIG difference....

Amazon has it even cheaper, and I bet you could find an even better buy if you looked:

http://www.amazon.com/JUKI-TL-2000Qi...m/B004C04YII/2

You could get a re serviced on this site for $799.

I will never give up my Juki, no matter what else I get. If you want to FMQ- she's your girl, and she sews like butter and has all metal parts. As long as you clean and oil her, she will purr like a kitten.

I think the ability to use flex pay is the draw--at least it is for me.

I have very little space in my crowded home for one but I have one. I have had mine about 5 years and bought a frame for it two years ago. It's amazing how you can find the space if you really want it. I love mine and it is so much easier to do FMQ on it. I would go for it.
